Sacramento Engagement:: Gina and Kevin

The internet can be full of surprises. Gina and Kevin are two terrific people that found each other on the sometimes crazy internet super highway. They corresponded for a while over email, and their second phone call lasted approximately four hours. You know a guy is smitten when he converses with you on the phone for that long.

Their first date included tasty Italian food and great conversation. Gina is a gorgeous, classy lady that Kevin couldn't resist. Kevin is kind and loving, and really knows a good thing when he's got it. It didn't take long for him to realize that Gina was his one and only. Kevin has two kids and they couldn't agree more. They will be getting hitched this June, and Kevin's son will be his best man and his daughter will be Gina's maid of honor. What a wonderful way for this family to celebrate their future.

So, this was not only an engagement session, but it just felt right to photograph all four of them. I had such a great day with them and can't wait to photograph their wedding.

What Little Boys Are Made Of...

I had a wonderful time last weekend photographing this little guy. He is so fun and full of energy. He loves playing ball, climbing fences, trees and rock piles. But don't let all that "boy-ness" fool ya. He's the sweetest little guy. When I was done shooting this session with him he was out playing on the big rock pile. I told him I had to go, and waived good-bye. He then yelled at the top of his voice, "Wait! I need to give you a hug!" He then proceeded to run across the grass and with his arms open wide grabbed my legs and gave me a big boy-bear hug. My heart melted. Here's a few of my favorite shots of him.
